Strange and Unusual Suicides--The Investigation Process, Evidence Collection, and Pathology Results of These Unbelievable Cases

Study the Investigative Process That Helped Solve Cases Involving the Use of Cutting Equipment.

Any crime scene can be challenging given the unique circumstances surrounding the scene and whether or not decedents are included in the scene. In addition, investigators must be able to let the evidence tell the scene and follow the evidence to conclusion of the event. Suicide cases can be conclusive depending upon the evidence collected and the scene being investigated. However, there are some scenes in which evidence pointing to homicide is absent.

This course presents the unique characteristics of unusual suicide cases, how these cases were investigated, the resulting pathology, and the associated evidence that was collected and analyzed.
