Webinar Description

CSI Evidence Analysis Simulation
90-Minute Live Interactive Webinar

Could You Analyze a Crime Scene Like a CSI?

This is not a lecture.

This is not a TV-style walkthrough.
This is a live, 90-minute CSI evidence analysis simulation designed for aspiring crime scene investigators who want to experience how real-world forensic reasoning actually works.

During this session, you will be presented with a series of realistic scene photographs and a limited case background—just as a CSI would encounter in the field.

You will be asked to interpret evidence, evaluate competing explanations, and decide what most likely happened based on what the scene reveals.  You will not be given step-by-step instructions.

You will not be told the “right” answer up front.  Instead, you’ll practice the kind of critical thinking, observation, and judgment that defines professional CSI work.

What Makes This Simulation Different
Most CSI webinars explain what the job is.
This simulation shows you how the job feels.

You analyze scene photos, not slides
You work with incomplete and ambiguous information
You must separate relevant evidence from distractions
You form and defend evidence-based conclusions
You see how professionals reason—and where common mistakes occur

There is no single “correct” solution—only conclusions that are more or less defensible based on the evidence.

What You’ll Do During the Session
During this live 90-minute experience, you will:

Examine multiple realistic crime scene photographs
Review limited background information, as in real cases
Identify key evidence and potential red flags
Consider alternative hypotheses and rule-outs
Decide what most likely occurred based on the scene
Compare your reasoning to professional CSI-style analysis

This is a hands-on thinking exercise, not passive watching.

Who This Is For
This simulation is designed for:
Recent graduates in forensic science or criminal justice who want practical exposure
Career-pivoting adults considering CSI or forensic work and seeking a realistic preview
Current students who want to test and sharpen their analytical skills early

No field experience is required.
Curiosity, attention to detail, and critical thinking are strongly encouraged.

  What You’ll Walk Away With
By the end of the session, you will have:
A realistic understanding of how CSI decision-making actually works

Insight into whether this type of work aligns with how you think
Awareness of common reasoning and interpretation errors
Greater confidence (or clarity) about pursuing CSI-related paths
A certificate of participation documenting your completion of the simulation
